In 2013, a John Howell contacted me from Melbourne, saying that he had an ID bracelet that Edgar wore in Mesopotamia during WW1 : it is a George V silver coin (florin?) with one face polished smooth for engraving, and two loops for a wrist strap or watch band - almost certainly for sale
