Effie Kathleen Hallam 1894-1984
Nurse & School matron
Maryl was also interested to know (if possible) how a relative on her Mum's side who she and her brothers called Auntie Effie fits in. When she was a child ' she and her mother occasionally visited her, an elderly lady, for the day in Cirencester. There was no mention of a husband or children . She had in her mind that she was related to her mother through her grandfather (Edward Hugo Price). Maybe she was his niece? I wondered if Effie was the daughter of one of the siblings of her mother's grandfather Edward Hugo Price.
