Buckthorps . . . . The Buckthorps came from Hertfordshire- there by 1773 , via London - there in 1809, back to Hertford 1836, to Lincolnshire, Grantham Charles born 1837, via Sleaford 1839 to Lincoln by 1841. And there they stayed to the present day - apart from Charles' brief sortie to Derby around 1881
Prestons- on the Buckthorp side!. . . . George Preston born 1820 Louth, moving from there >1873 to Nottingham until his 1886 death. George W Preston born Louth 1854, married there 1875, then moved to Lincoln, dying there 1898. Alice May Preston born 1895, lived & died 1962 Lincoln
Gouldings . . . . .William Goulding born~1801 Owmby, moves south & marries Langworth 1827, living Goltho-Wragby- 1838-1858. John Goulding born Wragby 1837, marries & lives Lincoln 1860-1903. Ada Goulding born & died Lincoln 1872-1931.
Browns . .Joseph Brown born Lincolnshire ~ 1817 though his parents came from Notts, marries & lives Lincoln until~1847. Martha Brown born & died Lincoln
Barkers . . . .Thomas Barker born 1795 & married 1816 in Burwell, then lived Donnington - his wife's home - from ~1820-1863. Charles Barker was born 1817 Swaby/Haugham but grew up in Donnington, likely marrying there in 1841 & again in 1856. 1861-1871 he moves to the Skidbooke area- where his 2nd wife came from - , then back to Legbourne by 1881, to North Coates by 1891, dying around Lincoln 1896. Elizabeth M Barker born Donnington, lives there & then Skidbrooke befere marrying Louth 1875 , then living Donnington 1881, Lincoln 1891-1943, remarrying there in 1901
Alcocks. . . . Skidbrooke/Theddlethorpe area for 2 generations before William Alcock lived there 1795-1879. Sarah S Alcock there 1822 till her marriage 1856, then moves to the Donnington domain of the Barkers, returning for a period to Skidbrooke, then to Legbourne, back to North Coates & dying Lincoln 1903
Gurnells . . . Thomas Gurnell born Mumby, 15m SE of Louth, died Louth 1936. Lucy Gunnell born 1822, died 1660 Louth.
More but different Barkers . . .Sarah Barker born 1832 N. Scarle, 10 m WSW of Lincoln. Marries, maybe for the 2nd time, in Sleaford 1859, then remarries Lincoln 1869, dying there in 1894. Her father & grandfather came from Wheatley Notts, close to Gainsborough
Hutton . . . .Henry Hutton married 1797 & Elizabeth Hutton born1798 Saltfleetby. She marries 1816 Skidbrooke and dies near there in 1841
Jenney . . . .Mary Jenney born 1796 South Elkington- just west of Louth- & married 1816 Burwell. First child born 1817 Swaby but then lived in Donnington-on-Bain until 1864, returning to Swaby, dying there 1868, on her husband's death

Trafford . . .John Trafford married Goulceby 1768 & Mary Trafford born there 1798, then marrying 1820 Louth , dying there 1855.

John Henry Edens born Long Sutton 1854, left there after 1871, joined the Royal Navy, married Lincoln 1884, then lived in Rampton,back to the suburbs of Lincoln, Waddington & Nettleham 1891-1935. John W Edens born Rampton 1884, then lived around Lincoln from1891, marrying & living in Rotherham 1905-1908, then back to Nettleham . Alice Edens born & lived Lincoln 1920-1987

Joseph Preston born Welbourn 1859, marries 1880 Lincoln & still there 1881, back to Welbourn by 1883, dies there 1938. Edith Preston born Welbourn 1884, marries in Rotherham in 1906, moving to Nettleham by ~1909 & dying there 1950.
Goys . . . .Thomas Goy married 1754 Binbrook, Robert Goy born there 1773, buried there 1849, William Goy 1816 born there, He then moved south , marrying Lincoln 1842, living Wragby, & remarrying there 1864, until his death in 1874. Fanny A Goy was born 1867 Wragby but went to work as a servant in Lincoln by 1881. She married there 1884 & then went to Rampton, Notts, then N. Thoresby- on A16 east of Binbrook- 1887-9, then Waddington by 1891, Lincoln by 1893, Nettleham 1901-1936 .
Hills . . . . .William Hill born Keelby 1808, marries Barlings 1832, living Nettleham 1836-1872. Mary Ann Hill born 1836 Nettleham, lives there till her marriage 1864 Wragby, &, widowed, moves from there to Lincoln in 1874 where she dies 1912.
Dawkins . . .In Langworth from ~1751 with Henry Dawkins, then William Dawkins born 1781, then Susanna Dawkins born~1808. She marries 1831 in closeby Barlings, moving to Nettleham soon after, living there till her death 1888
Wilkinsons . . .Ruth Wilkinson born ~1832 & marries 1848 Lutton. Lives there till 1871 & then moves to Heckington , dying there 1876
