1911C.Cannot find any Edwin Barnes. His wife Ann, 61, married, totally blind, 4 children, 1 dead, and sons Joseph, 33, solicitor, & Thomas, 32, manager-picture frame making, are living 5 Arnold Avenue Cadder, Bishopriggs. Presumably Edwin is selling insurances elsewhere , but cannot find him in England/Scotland .
Seemingly still alive, as he seems to be in 1914 when his son marries
1919. His wife, Ann Barnes, nee Oldham, dies 1919, aged 69, Cathcart, Lanrk/Glasgow City - not purchased the whole cert.
1926. Edwin Barnes, 75, insurance broker retired,dies 21/12/1926 new Crookston Giffnock. His usual address was 1 Knowe Terrace, Giffnock, the same address as that of his son Joseph, the informant . The certificate only gives his father- Thomas Barnes, blockprinter, deceased . Giffnock ~6 k SSW of Glasgow, New Crookston to the NW of Giffnock
