Mary Hunt 1769-1859
~1769 . Mary Hunt was born Cambridge to William Hunt & Mary Palmby
1795.Mary Hunt married Edward Barrow, 25, huntsman, of Yarmouth, Norfolk, on 27/8/1795 in Cambridge St Clement , by licence . Bondsman was Arthur Barrow, of Wicken, farmer, parish Yarmouth .
This stated on Pippa's cousin long Barrow Ancestry- see Barrow Index page - I am NOT CONVINCED!, as only baptism I have found is at Wicken , NOT St Ives
1796. Edward Barrow was born to Edward & Mary in St Ives, Cambridgeshire ( according to censuses) . YET he was baptised in Great Yarmouth on 29/3/1796, having been born just 2 days earlier! Also a baptism Wicken on ?/6/1796 , no parents given on this FMP record
Have not , so far, found a baptism around St Ives on FMP or Ancestry or FS . His first known son was called John , eldest daughter Hannah
Wicken is ~32 k S of Southery . It is also very far to the east of St. Ives, ~ 18k, : so why does he give St Ives as his birthplace in FOUR censuses ???
1841C. just possibly, given as aged 80, living alone in George Street, St Andrew the Less, Cambridge
1851C. Mary Barrow, 82, widow, lady, was living Burleigh Street, Saint Andrew the Less, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
