Muriel doodled that the Eastons farmed at Todrig; actually Todrig was sold in 1622 to Thomas Scott, younger brother of Walter Scott, the 2nd laird of Whitslade. Then for more than a century it belonged to this line of Scotts of Todrig. But sold off by Thomas Scott in 1746, and George Pott was the owner on Ainslie's 1773 map.
