1748. A Richard Badman was baptised . He married Charity Vowles b. 1751 & above tree has Thomas as their son, but no baptism: only just enough time for this to take place, say Thomas born 1768 when Charity was 17, and then Thomas also married young, at 19 - so I am very suspicious of these 'facts'

1750. A Thomas Badman was baptised 9/12/1750 to Thomas & Mary in Yatton Somerset -FS

1787. Thomas Badman married Mary Richards on 6/9/1787 in Wyck St Lawrence, Somerset - Ancestry England Select Marriages

1800. Susannah Badman was baptised to Thomas & Mary on 27/6/1800 Wick St Lawrence .

Other children who were also baptised there : George 1788; Sarah 1794 & Eliza 1802 . Some trees also have Mary 1797.

1818. A Thomas Badman, 69, abode Banwell, was buried on 4/3/1818 in Congresbury - this very close to Yatton, so the same person as baptised there 1750. Wick St Lawrence ~7 k to the W, so reckon this is our Thomas- maybe the body returned to Congresbury to be buried with his parents. Record on Ancestry, image available

Congresbury, Wyck St Lawrence and Banwell form a triangle, with Banwell in the south, roughly 8 k between each

1831. His widow, Mary Badman, 76, abode Banwell, is buried 13/8/1831 in Congresbury - record on Ancestry, image available
