An interesting life , with 2 illegitimate daughters and 2 marriages, , one marriage was 11 years after the birth of Jemima the other marriage was 3 years after the birth if Lizzie
Different fathers entered on the two marriages!!
1856.-1861. Jane Gibson was born to John Gibson, an ag. labourer, and Jane Hare (as from her 1887 marriage cert) Musselburgh OR more likely, James Gibson, fisherman, and Jane Hare (as from her 1895 marriage cert,)
I purchased a 1856 Musselburgh b.c. for her, but it gave parents as a Charles Gibson , . I cannot find a birth on SP 1855-1860 for her around Musselburgh with a mother Hare. Pre 1855 only church records are available and these givw scant detail!
