On all these baptisms John is given as a labourer, & all except the 1st have an address of Odd Rode

1822. Elizabeth Booth, 34, wife of John, labourer, of Odd Rode, was buried 13/3/1822 in Astbury. She almost certainly died due to the birth of her last son, Timothy, who was baptised a month later

Thus John was left a widower with 7 children ranging in age from 0 - 12. He likely married again and could possibly be the farmer, born Odd Rode, aged 61, with wife Mary ,born Astbury, living Haslington, only 5 m away, in 1851C

1839. John is described as a butcher on his daughter's Hannah's m.c.
