1820. Jesse Dawson was baptised to John Dawson & Elizabeth on 23/4/1820 Ringley, ~ 3 m SSE of Bolton, near Kearsley -IGI. Siblings, baptised Ringley to the same parents, were Catharine 1813, William 1816 & John 1818 None of these baptisms on FMP . No obvious marriage of parents on IGI or FMP. A Family tree on Ancestry- Atkinson 14000 people!! - has the mother being Betty Clegg and their marriage 1807 in Oldham, ~ 20 miles from Kearsley - but this is rubbish in my opinion
