Margaret knows nothing except she was older when she married and had this stepdaughter who was a bit weird. She was never very friendly so we saw them very rarely. I remember Martin and I visited them once but got a very cold reception so never again!!

She married Edmund C Killick Fulham Jun 1950( he a Ships Insurance Clerk in 1939) and died Brent Mar 1979

Brett Ancestry family tree has him dying 1945: this incorrect, the death being that of a 64 year old!!

Had a quick look in 1939 register on FMP - did not find

No death for him on BMD before 1992
. For some obscure reason she was always called Jean – no idea why!! She was always ill and the cousins spent many holidays with my mum especially the girls. After Jean/Trudi died Ernest married his secretary (great scandal there -was he carrying on before his wife died?) . She was Joan. After Ernest died she kept in touch but then nothing- after 2011 - so I presume she is dead. Last known address Kilcronat, Ballynoe, Mallow, County Cork. Greg 1969 and Lesley visited them after their wedding in 2001 and were wined and dined. The son Howard moved to be near them but I never had a contact for him – could still be alive as younger than me. Maybe Julia died – may be she was ill and that was why she was returning.
Wedding of Ernest and wife TrudyJean as she was usually . They had Valerie 1938, Enid 1940, Julia 1942 and Howard E Sep 1947. Sadly lost touch with all. Trust died young. I’ll for many years. More details when we speak as maybe not relevant
Can you not trace then somehow?? I would love to trace the children but no contact at al now. Could you find where Howard is maybe and I could contact him? Valerie was the black sheep of the family. Had a baby and father was a threat and she went into hiding as a teenager and disappeared into obscurity. Julia, her sister had some contact and I kept in touch with Julia, who for a long time lived near you in Spain (I think I might have mentioned about meeting up with her sometime) then a few years ago she said she was moving back to England and then never replied. The other sister Enid I had no contact with.

Howard, Ernest, Trudi, Julia, Valerie, ??, Enid ~ 1948 . I would guess the unknown man may be a Trudi’s father. Would make sense.
