1828. Daniel Morrison was born to John Morrison, shoe maker & Margaret Morrison- names from his 1906 d.c. BUT, cannot find such a birth/baptism,( thoroughly searched a 2nd time too) so rather suspect that by 1906 his son John 1851 did not know what Daniel's mother maiden name actually was, so just entered Morrison!!

& that , just possibly,

1828. Daniel Morrison was born to John Morrison & Margaret Sangster on 6/6/1828 Glasgow : but very unlikely as Kilpatrick well W of Glasgow!! BUT

on 8/10/1831 a James Morrison was baptised in Glasgow St Andrew to a John Morrison & Margaret Morrison, so, seemingly, such a couple did exist!! A Joseph Morrison married Margaret Morrison in 1813 Monzie- this way N of Stirling
