His father Thomas Davis bricklayer, hers John Redding bricklayer. She a minor, he full age, labourer. Both living Morden Place. Witnesses Robert Teasel & Deborah Porter

The first baptism, 1841, is to a Frederick Tiphen Davis & Mary. The first 6 have an address of Parvis Street, this changing to 34 New Road between 1851 & 1853. And Frederick is a labourer in the first 4, becoming a foreman Royal Arsenal between 1846 & 1848 . No baptism found for firstborn Mary 1840. . No death of a Frederick 1841-1848, so can only assume that this baptism to Frederick Tiphen Davis is not theirs. Death of a Margaret Dec 1842 and of a Mary Stewart Sep 1843. Death of an Amelia Sep 1852.
