Neither James nor Elizabeth Cassell would appear to be alive still by 1841C.
1823 . John Cassell marries Frances Barnes 12/5/1823 Northwood - this the I of W , near Cowes - Hampshire and has children: Frances S 1828, Eliza J 1831, John 1833 & Charles 1835 - they all born Portsea, so thought maybe he was from Portsea,with wife Frances from the I of W, but above gives a baptism for him in Cowes, this within 2 k of Northwood .

His father James Cassell, gardener: hers Joseph Matthews, revenue officer. His address Daniel Street, Portsea: hers North Street, Portsea. Witnesses Robert Matthews & Charlotte Matthews, her mark. He is a widower, aged 39, with 4 children, aged 5-12.
