1904. William Thomas Dunkley born 3/2/1904 Buckingham Mar 1904 - a quick marriage!

1906 Joseph Dunkley born 25/2/1906 Buckingham Jun 1906, mother Gregory - these 2 exact dates from his 1915 Army record . In 1939C Joseph Dunkley was living 9 Bone Hill, Buckingham

1911C. Annie Dunkley was living 9 Lenboro Road, Buckingham, married 7 years, 2 children, in 3 rooms. She could not write . Her age should be ~45!!

Annie Dunkley Wife Married Female 30 1881 - Bucks Buckingham

William Dunkley Son - Male 7 1904 - Bucks Buckingham

William Dunkley is featured on the 1911 as stayimg with Beth's great grandparents, Maud and Harry Adams.

So, who was Eric?? & where is her son Joseph 1906

Could the census entry be wrong & it should read William 9, though only 7, & Eric is Joseph, only 5!. Census says only 2 children born, & no BMD entry for an Eric!

dunks . 3kids .dunkley. .

Maybe Annie & children outside her house~1904? . .Willie Dunkley 1904, Annie Dormer 1901 & Joseph Dunkley, photo ~1908... Likely Annie Dormer in ~1910

dunk-kids .annie .annie-house

Maybe Alexander 1896 with half brother Willie and sister Annie- 1904. . . . . . Annie on her steps . . . . . . . . . . . .Annie and 9 Lenborough Road? . . . . . . . . .

Middletop photo has 3 names on its back, but one illegible, maybe Sony, this a nickname for Joseph??

But no Eric Dunkley born- and if a 1902 birth then maybe not her son . Was William Thomas Dunkley married before- aged 19 in Acaster Malbis, Yorkshire, cattleman on farm- , but born ~1883 from 1916 Army record so, surely No! Unfortunately his army record does not list his children!!

Daughter, Anne Dormer( mistranscribed Donover) , 11, is living Buckingham with her maternal grandmother, Maria Gregory, nee Wright

1916. Her husband, aged 32 in 1915, 1st Bttn Oxford & Bucks Light Infantry, no. 3801, declared unfit ( internal derangement of knee joint) from the Army after 1 year 16 days service - records exist on Ancestry and there is a pension- but expires 28/12/1916 . Thus husband born ~ 1883. Address 9 Lenborough Road

1924. Living Bath Lane, Buckingham when her youngest daughter, Annie, married John E Marsh.

1939 Register.Annie Dunkley was living Bath Lane, Buckingham Both d of bs suspect, but entry does say William T Dunkley, & is not her 1904 son of the same name

William Dunkley 05 Apr 1897 Male Builders Labourer Married 154 1
Annie Dunkley 29 Oct 1863 Female Unpaid Domestic Worker Married 154 2

a William Thomas Dunkley, 85, dies North Bucks Sep 1945- thus born ~1860 , not her husband for although the d of b in 1939 is so daft, he was born ~1883 from his army record . There is a birth Buckingham Jun 1881 !

1946. A William Dunkley, 82, dies North Bucks Mar 1946 = this cannot be him, age very wrong!! It is a William Dunkley who is in Lillingstone Durrell in 1901 & 1911 Cs!!

1950. Louisa A Dunkley,80 dies on 15/2/1950 is at 16 Lenborough Road, Buckingham: North Bucks Mar 1950 : FMP Newspapers Buckingham Advertiser She should be 87 . 16 Lenborough Road was the home of Mr & Mrs Prickett, uncle & aunt of Violet Adams Newspaper article , their wedding anniversary too.
